The U.S. Government has ordered all Kaspersky Lab antivirus software off of federal government computers by the end of the year.  Given the current environment that we find ourselves in, I believe that it would be prudent for state chartered credit unions to follow the lead of the U.S. Government in ceasing to use the Kaspersky antivirus software program due to vulnerabilities.  While ACUA is not requiring state chartered credit unions to cease using the software, I am recommending that you do so to protect your members’ financial information.
